How long do I have to wait until I reclass? What armor units are at JBLM?

I’m on my first contact 3 years 17 weeks how long do I have to wait till reclass? Is their any armor mos in fort Lewis? I’m a 19k armor crewmen I like my job however I’ve been wanting to move to fort Lewis. What other mos are big in fort Lewis

1-2 and 2-2 are both Stryker BCTs. There are no tanks on JBLM. There is a MGS platoon in each SBCT. It’s a Stryker with a 120 mm cannon on it. I’m guessing it’s a pretty hard position to get. You can look at ACT to see what positions are available at JBLM for a 19K1O.

To add to this SFC. Amundson, let it be noted that the MOS and time, you are looking for also depends on open slots. For instance, if said MOS is a low personnel, they could put the word out. I was a 13 Delta for about 4 months before they asked me if I wanted to be a 92 Golf (food service).

Minimum time on station is 36 months. HRC won’t even talk to you until you have at least 30 months on station.
As far as reclassing, once you’re in your window to re-enlist you can have the career counselor to check if that is an option for you....

There’s no armor on JBLM. You can reclass when it’s time to reenlist. When you reclass you don’t get your choice of follow on duty station
