That depends on your unit, if it is an infantry unit most likely you can re class during the summer

You should be able to transfer to 11B anytime. I know in basic they use to ask men to transfer in basic training. Besides I was old school and they would tell you no matter what your MOS was your 11B first. Made sence then. If the bad guy was coming thru the door you all fight for your life, good luck

Change my current MOS for the simple fact that we dont do our job and we have 9-10 91f in the armament section.

You have plenty of time left in your career. Make the most of your current MOS and be patient for all your grunt hopes and dreams.

If i would have known i would be walking around doing nothing i wouldn't have picked the 91f mos. I picked 91f because i thought i would be fixing weapons or at least staying up to date with complete disassembly and or gauging. I haven't seen a military weapon in over 6 months. I'm starting to forget the things that i learned in AIT. obviously should have just joined with the 11b or 11x mos but that cant be changed now. Anyways thanks for the feedback.

As long as you are still in you can make it happen if you want it bad enough. But you have to be persistent with that kind of thing in the Guard & reserve, and even as an E3, sometimes YOU have to make things happen at drill. Clean, hip pocket tng, etc. But for now, I'd focus on getting E4 and then go to WLC, theres things you can do now to advance your army career. Let the rest fall into place when its in the cards.

Why did you not just enlist as an 11b?
In the guard switching MOS is as easy as moving closer to a unit with the MOS you want and transferring; But you do not get to go to the Active duty school for that, you will go as a "will train" and you will not be promoteable till you finish that school.
Your unit doesn't have to release you though, unless you move outside the 50 mile radius.
If you are receiving a bonus, and you do not meet the full requirements (i.e. contract time), for that bonus you will be forced to pay it back. Which is the only reason i can think of you not enlisting as n 11B.
