How long does it take for the State OPM to accept your promotion packet (1LT to CPT), usually? Also, how long has it been taking packets to move from OPM to Fed Rec recently? I was DA Select for CPT in September 2019 but couldn’t submit my packet until I came off of MND (back injury), which was this last Sept.
Any light that could be shed would be awesome. I hope everyone has been staying safe (and healthy).

State OPMs submit all fed rec actions (appointments, branch, new branch, UVPs) monthly.
Assuming a packet gets to OPM with no errors, the longest it should be at OPM is 29 days.
“Awaiting Acceptance by OPM” sounds like a tracker step on your G1 SharePoint.
OPM would change that to "accepted by OPM" when they open it for review, and something like "sent to scroll" when they submit.
Cutoff for monthly submission is the 10th of the month (I think, it's been a while since I had to do one, but in CAARNG so we are talking about the same OPM), which would mean yours goes to to scroll 1-10 NOV.
And you have a very capable BDE S1 CPT at 79th. She will give you the straight answer pretty fast, and help you with any OPM issues.

so you can track it. I’ll give you the scoop. When you can get to a govt computer and see your scroll, when you get assigned a scroll, you can look up ricci moore on AKO email, type in her name like you’re going to send an email, and it will show you every scroll and it’s status. She’s a FEDREC technicianCPT (Join to see)

No problem! I waited somewhere around 372 days for my O1-O2 so considering this one only took right at 100 once it started scrolling, I’d say it’s gotten a ton better. CPT (Join to see)

Ugh. That wait was brutal for me as well. My DOR for 1LT is 06FEB15 but didn't pin until Nov 2016.
