Been waiting to hear a response back with regards to my bonus, ran through the chain of command and still haven’t heard anything other than waiting to establish DJMS. Called DFAS with bonus control number and there not seeing anything yet. Also called JFHQ which is waiting for a response back. Any and all information greatly appreciated.

Not sure if it has cleared up yet but there was a backlog a couple months ago. NGB can be slow at times. Keep track of it but don't get to impatience.

Rgr that Chief last month when I talked to them the backlog was at around 180, rough estimate from the SPC I spoke with. Just trying to stay assertive as it’s been over 10 months now. You got a rough estimate on how long it takes them to respond too an email from my First Sergeant?

Have you spoken to your state’s incentives manager? Or tried your local IG office? I can tell you getting a response from NGB can take a while. When I get referrals from NGB to my office they are already several months old. I would suggest working locally. I can also tell you that there was a major breakdown of systems a few months back due to GIMS servers catching on fire, however the cases are being worked through and the backlog is steadily clearing up. I would start with Incentives, though.

Thank you, just spoke to incentives yesterday and they said that my bonus has moved from established to now being sent to IST before going to NGB for payment through DFAS. They told me I should see payment in 45-60 days which honestly I hope comes sooner

Have you passed your anniversary date? If you haven’t, then you likely won’t see it until after that when your new contract starts. Even then it could be weeks to months after that.

Signed on December 7th of 2018, my contract date was Jan. 31st of 2019. Well passed my due date, if the system was up I would have been paid in March of 2019 as we roll into November I’m pushing the issue more assertively to try and get some more answers.
