I have recently been placed in PDS (PROFIS Deployment System) for an upcoming deployment. This will be my first time being "PROFIS" so I'm not sure how things work. I haven't been given any info from my home station and am kind of wondering what my time line might be. Any info or experience you could share would be great. Thank you for your time

It depends. I have had to work to get the TCS orders for folks in our unit a few times already. We go through our Solider Support Center and have been told not to submit the TCS worksheet NET 60 days out. Once the worksheet has been submitted the turnaround was a few days.

Can you tell me more about how this is done. I’m placed on PCS orders but getting Hazard Pay and in a remote location in Turkey and some people are on TCS orders and getting the full benefits while I’m on PCS

It all depends on the unit you are profis to and where they are in their cycle. Ask the profis manager for unit contact information or if they are tracking any exercises or deployments coming up for that unit.

Different units have different missions. You could never deploy or already be pegged against something leaving soon. Talk to the profis manager for a good projection.

Have you checked https://mobcop.army.mil/ for your TCS orders? This is where they will populate once they are posted. If you must process through Fort Bliss CRC prior to deployment you may not see TCS orders until you are at Fort Bliss as they will be considered the deploying installation.
