How long does it usually take to receive a re-enlistment bonus?

I have seen dfas take up to 60 days to release bonus payment. At 30 days check with your career counselor.

I'm not sure if I did this the right way but I looked at my contract and saw that I was indeed entitled to a bonus. I printed that and went directly to finance. They told me I needed some other documents which were on my iperms. I printed that and dropped everything off. Was told my bonus would be in my account in less than 14 business days and if it wasn't to come back. I never needed to come back.

Also, it's not an S1 function, don't go to them. If it's been more than a month and you haven't been paid go back to your Career Counselor

Work with your S1 and bring all documentation you have in regards the bonus

This is probably going to need action by your S1. They will need to see you met the requirements of yours bonus, and all the corresponding documents with the submission.
