How long does it usually take to receive PCS orders while in Korea?

I was told it could range from six to eight months from my DEROS

In accordance with AR 614-30 you will be considered for assignment at 7 months from DEROS and placed on assignment no later than 6 months from DEROS.

It took me six months left to know where I was going after Korea. The rest will depend on if you can get the right paperwork filled out quick and sent up through your S1. The other thing will be getting your sponsor from your gaining unit. You both will have to fill out your parts on the form before you usually get your orders also.
