I'm a guardsman about to reclass to 25B and was told that the course I'll attend will be held in Marietta, rather than Fort Gordon. I've seen differentiating answers, but is anybody sure about exactly how long the school is at an RTI vs at traditional AIT?

It is 57 days. I went their and my E5 is down their now. Not a bad place to do AIT. 1st and 2nd Phase will bore you to death, it's not till you get the subnetting, and hexadecimal portion you will need to pay attention.

Okay, good deal. Thanks, SSG. Because of how condensed it is compared to the traditional 5 months, are the class days longer?

Additionally, I’m already doing some online college classes where I’m studying A+ and Network+ through Testout so hopefully that will help me keep up.

Any prep tips before school?

When I went in 2018 we did class 6 days a week, usually had testing on Sat and Sunday we would have off. Not sure how it is now.
I would say brush up on your CLI, you will not be using Puddy and subnetting. Those are the two key things. If you have Net+ by then that will help you immensely.
