I have completed SSD-2 and will hopefully getting ALC knocked out soon. How long does it the actual course take and does it differ for a different MOS?

Just check ATRRS for the resident course. That will tell you all you need to know.

It differs by MOS there are websites at the prospective duty stations for you to check. Hope this helps.

Sergeant whats your mos? And component? Those two factors will determine your ALC length and number of phases. Hope that helps!

Good deal. I'm actually there now for an AIT graduation. Saw the academy. Looks pretty nice.

Yes ALC is MOS specific. I am a 91X and my ALC was two 3 week resedent phases. I know some others are shorter and others are longer

SFC Keevan, when did you go to ALC? I though even though it changed to ALC it was still 2 months. I went to BNCOC back in June and July 2009

The resident portion of the course varies from mos to mos. when I went in 2006 it was 12 weeks (I think it's 6 now)
