How many characters are allowed when filling in the "Military Experience" section on RallyPoint?

My Military Experience section of Rally Point was on point, however I went to update it and the grand majority of the write up was deleted. I get a "chars left" with no indication of how many characters I can use. I am also getting several errors.. I counted and saw that I am only allowed 200 characters, however this wasn't like this earlier and I still see many blue ribbon profiles with more.

The people who damn Trumps 140 character limit as insufficient for passing along information are either stoned, stupid, or weak thinking Party hacks.
I don't know about you but I can send multiple messages detailing a single statement...which he does.
Like I said one or more of the aforementioned character traits are definitively coming into play here

Thank you. I had a long detailed description and the system cut it once I clicked edit. I can no longer write more than 200 characters.. frustrating.

As many separate positions or assignments or PCSs as you have had. I've seen short rosters and very extensive rosters.

SCPO (Join to see) well, yes, definitely. However I am having an issue with the details portion. My assignments show up fine, but the details won't let me add more than 200 characters (about 2-3 lines). It wasn't like this last week and if you look at serval other member's pages they much more than 200 characters. My description was cut short when I went to edit it.

RP is constantly fine-tuning th mechanical operation of its website. This aspect may have been affected. Brevity is always better anyway. Take advantage of this useful lesson.
