I've been using safety razors and they're much better IMO. https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/safety-razors-vs-multi-blade-razors
Safety Razors vs Multi-blade razors | RallyPoint
Okay, so I recently made the decision to switch from the Mach 3 multi-blade razor to an old school safety razor. I did my research, watching videos on YouTube on tips and tricks on shaving with a safety razor and whatnot. Took time to talk to the guys at the Art of Shaving store we have here and decided to give it go. I even made the switch from canned shaving cream to a shaving lather and brush. Anyways, so today was the first time I took the...

Used to use a puck, brush, and safety razor, now I use a cordless electric. Easier these days for traveling and limited water conditions.

My apologies Chief. I should have included that in the poll. I used to go the way of the electric as well. Always had to wet shave once a week on my neck at a minimum because the electric could just never get to it. Lectric Shave preshave was great! I like using it wet shaving too due to the Isopropyl Myristate in the ingredients.

I tried to edit the poll, however was not allowed to. I will tally 1 for electric razors.

I switched to a soap puck and brush (2000) long before I switch to a safety razor. It always produced superior shaves than anything out of a can due to the physics behind it. If you take a can of gel shaving cream the intent of the gel is to expand to lift the whiskers similarly to how a shave brush works on the face. What I got tired of is paying so much money for the cartridge blades from the name brand manufactures. 1 cartridge lasting one month is such a joke, especially when you have a thick beard. So I started doing some research into the Shaving Dollar club and found out they use the razors produced my a company called Dorco. So why should I pay a premium for a monthly service when I can go to the horses mouth. Dorco is an internet order only company that has decent products. However, 3 years ago for Christmas due to my badger brush needing to be replaced my Wife went all out for me. She purchased a safety razor and a new silvertip badger hair brush. I have never looked back to a cartridge ever. The up front cost to start was a little bit expensive however it quickly pays off. I tried some different blades but quickly enjoyed the Feather blades which cost me around 25$ for 100ct. I change blades weekly so for the 25$ it cost me for the 100 blades I get almost 2 years of shaves. Ill say around 120 total to get everything I needed compared to the 20 I was spending monthly on the cartridge packs I have saved a lot of money as well as have superior shaves compared to the cartridge shaves. So if you are looking to save some money on shaving and are interested and want more information let me know I will try to help you out. I will add this for the ladies. I purchased an additional brush and soap puck for my wife and she prefers it over any of the can stuff and enjoys the shave a safety razor provides. So its not just for beards legs too!
