How much time does it take the process for medical retirement to complete from the moment the PM send the papers ?

I did respond, if you are looking for dates locked in concrete, then then you will still be waiting after the discharge. You or the dischargee are not in charge, and can't influence, or speed things up unless you take shortcuts which can adverse affect the case.

As a former cadre at a WTB I've seen final retirement papers at the 6-month and way past the 18th month. SGM Bill Frazer is correct that locked in dates is not possible.
My own medical board lasted 27 months. it went back to the MEB and then dropped. I then served a few more years and until longevity retired.
I'll quote Forrest Gump, "Medical Boards are like a box of chocolates, you never know when what you are going to get"
