Not clear enough... looks like the arrow pointing to the right points to the circle while the arrow pointing down points to 0.00. Also, the circle encapsulates 4 different numbers. I need a little bit more clarification to understand what's all going on here.

If you check your LES, you will see that pay is dependent on both time in service and what pay grade you are. Your current BAS will not change.
Current military pay chart are available here:

BAH calculator, if you aren't in the barracks, is here:

In which case your leadership will inform you of the BAH you'll be receiving.
On a side note, I recommend that, as a potential NCO, you'll be writing counseling statements and other documents, and your communication skills may need sharpening. Things like proper spelling, punctuation, and other skills are worth having. Work with your leadership on that and your career potential will increase significantly. Good luck!!

SFC Peter Krarup - as well as being able to research and provide the proponent answer to your Joes' questions, like the pay charts on DFAS, regs on APD, etc., and teaching them how to do the same.

Are you seriously telling us that you don't know how to read a pay chart after 5 years? WTF?

SGT (Join to see) - There's a few things that make an NCO stand out from a Specialist. One of those is the ability to get results (you'll even be rated on this), i'm willing to bet you didn't try and find your own answer before seeking an answer; that is lazy.
Many times answers are found in ARs, FMs, TCs, ect.....but this was a simple google answer.
Don't take criticism personal or get defensive, use it to better yourself.

Your pay is based on your pay grade and time in service. If you've been in 5 years and only just now made E-5, you will be making the same base pay as an E-5 with 5 years who was promoted much earlier than you.

SGT (Join to see) it’s pretty cut and dry. Just use a 2021 pay chart and it will tell you your base pay. Pay is based on rank and time in service. The only variation will be if you receive additional allowances for your location (BAH, BAS, COLA). This is stuff your immediate leadership should be helping you with

You've asked people around and still couldn't give you a clear answer? Were people messing with you, or are you messing around with people on here? Did you ask your first line? Hell, did you ask some of the PVT's in your unit? Money is somewhat important to me; I understood the pay chart before signing my initial contract. I look it up a couple times a month just to fantasize about where I could be at in the next few years/ towards the end of my career and calculate my retirement based on hypothetical situations. "C'mon, man! You know the thing!".
I am all for people asking questions if they should need help. If I realize that I could get a definitive answer quickly from someone with experience instead of spending hours of cross referencing different documents, I will do that. But, this answer could be found within seconds of a quick search. You spent more time typing out this question than it would take to find the answer, and that is why some folks are showing some tough love to ya.

SPC, have you considered looking at the DFAS Pay Tables? The answer is right there. Don't forget to factor in any allowances, taxes, or other issues.

SGT (Join to see) No one comes here to give you crap. They came here because they're baffled that you are about to be a Noncommissioned Officer and still cant figure out BASIC information. How are you going to lead soldiers if you don't understand how to look up basic pay rates? The next question you're going to have on here is how to write a counseling. You need to invest in yourself, start reading through regulations and obtain knowledge. No one will do it for you.
