How often do Rangers in Ranger battalions deploy?

So I believe I understand what you’re really looking for and the answer as CH (COL) Geoff Bailey Said it is an OPSEC situation . Having said that, life in the Regiment and Bat’s is the tip of the spear type exsistence for all Rangers there. Whether there is a current down range issue or the between the pages type of exsistence I had in my Bn time.
You will be expected to be ready and your team leaders , squad leaders and Plt Sgts will see to that. The when and where is entirely left to those that make those calls. Regardless of numbers of times out the door , if you are in regt or any one of the Bns you will work hard , become extremely skilled and be exhausted daily . That’s the life and true high degree of discipline , brotherhood , training and retraining and rehearsing will assure that when needed you will be on muscle memory and high situational awareness.
Beyond that if you want to know ... dig deep and try to get there . Then you’ll know the deal.

Dates of a deployment is OPSEC, average lengths of deployments are not. On average you will deploy for about 4 months and be home for about 8 months. Rinse and repeat.

It varies by unit and duties, but I’d recommend talking to someone in a Ranger battalion and understand that items like deployments are classified which renders open conversations about frequency a matter of OPSEC.

It depends what company, and battalion you’re in, what position you hold etc... I deployed 5 times while I was in Regiment as a communication Ranger.

It varies there is always 1 BN on alert at a time other then that OPSEC dude. Not a question that should be asked or answered on here or anywhere else.
