People often ask me for my opinion on fat burners and which one I think is best. My response to them is I don't think any of them are good, I don't believe in them. I believe fat burners are cop out for people who don't have the discipline to stay away from fast and or junk foods, or those people who don't want to workout but want to lose weight or even those people who do workout but don't want to do cardio or eat right. I believe the best way to lose fat is to work hard in the gym and eat right because they both have so many benefits to your health and well being.

Often. Sadly I used to be one of those guys until I became aware of what I was putting in my body.

But you learned and adjusted instead of simply ignoring the lesson.

SGT (Join to see) I see this all the time when I go to the gyms, I stay away from all this because of my medical status.

Most aren't needed anyway. You're likely saving money and time, sir.

How often do you come across gym rats that think supplements can replace a good diet?

It’s supposed to supplement.. not replace, Sir .. I already commented on that. Too me it’s a kinda laziness Missing nutritious food to pop a couple tablets or throw powder in a shaker with water...

I've been asked by people if the products advertised on television as well as talk shows are effective. My general response is they leave out two of the oldest ways of staying in shape, diet and exercise.

I’m not a ‘gym rat’ myself so I let them do what they want and any nutritionist worth their salt can tell them rats that no supplement can replace those real veggies n grains their body needs.. that stuff is just that.. a supplement !

I get people asking about them, but usually it isn't the kind of people that you would dub a "gym rat" as much as it's people that just want the easy way to a good looking body. To be honest I don't take any of them, just stick to a good diet an exercise. It isn't a fast process but it works, but these days the old fashioned way doesn't seem to be the way people want to go.

SGT (Join to see) what about those that lose 30lbs in a month and suddenly are "Wellness Coaches"?

Seems legit to me. Those organizations seems to only want someone with the hunger to get fit. Experience and knowledge is irrelevant.

SGT (Join to see) I've known of people who's transformation pics were stolen to use them with their brands. A friend of mine got a Herbalife flyer at a Traffic Light, for his surprise, the picture used was his!
