How often should we tell the people we care about that we love them?

As often as we can because they always need to know and life is way to short. You never know when the last time will be.

I tell my wife every morning before work (0500) and tell my kids before bed time (1930) every night. I think that is pretty good

DAILY. This day is a gift, that's why it is called THE PRESENT. You cannot 'give it back' you cannot 'regift it' yesterday cannot be brought back. Tomorrow is NOT promised. Each second passed IS IN THE PAST. Call up your spouse, significant other on your cell RIGHT NOW, and tell 'em, hey, I just called to say I love you. (well don't do this if you're driving...) It may be JUST what that person needs to hear at this EXACT SECOND. Hey guys, I love you.
