Im currently in AIT for 25B here at ft. Gordon. When I check my ERB it shows I'm in ft hood currently in active status (I'm National guard in TN) does this mean my unit is in a pre-deployment back home, or is my ERB just incorrect? Please help as I am getting married NOV. 10th this year and want to be able to go to my own wedding.

Contact your unit...specifically your NCO, and have them submit an inquiry on your behalf.

A RC unit does not usually deploy on no notice. Was your unit templated to deploy before you left? MSG (Join to see) has good advice. Chances are there is just some ERB shenanigans. They may have processed you in at AIT and that Is a wedge in the system to make your pay etc function.

Active Duty is a status connecred to orders. If you are at AIT you are on an active duty order for that school amd therefore considred active duty even if you are Gaurd or Reserve. I was a Reserve “Bum” for about 12 years. I was cut orders for working almost on a weekly basis. While on orders my status was active duty even though I was a reservist. You can call your command to confirm your suspicions about deployment but my guess is you have nothing to worry about.
