How soon until RP offers me the ability to ignore certain topics or groups?

Am I asking too much? I get that most other social media platforms don't offer such a feature, but the political threads are taking over like a plague and many times make up at least 2 of the 5 "Trending Discussions."
Or will this continue to be left to the individual members? Maybe there needs to be some sort of subdomain for politics.

RP should not have the right to allow you to ignore any posts. If you can't decide which post to read or disregard, you shouldn't be on here. You should be mature enough to make your own decision. Manipulation!
There are a number of posts and individuals I may or may not decide to read or ignore. No one says you have to agree with a post to learn from it.
I prefer to think for myself and not allow other to dictate what I can and can not do or say!

Sgt Jacqueem Spratley, I man enough to make my statement and take your down vote. But son, you need to grow a pair of balls and MANUS! Accept responsibility and stop depending on others to think for you! Oh ya, your 30 point deduction doesn't mean squat to me, but shows others on RP the time of individual you are.
