Hello Everyone! I'm currently at FT. Lee as an MOS-T for 92Y school. My husband is stationed in Germany and I'm wondering what the process is or who/where to go to enroll in this program? We want to do everything we can to get me stationed where he is once I graduate.

SPC (Join to see) its initiated through your S1 on a Da Form 4187. https://www.hrc.army.mil/content/Married%20Army%20Couples%20Program
Toll-Free: 1-888-ARMY-HRC (1-888-276-9472) DSN: 983-9500 AskHRC

Since I'm in a training status, I would take it to my drill sergeant to get it to the S-1, correct? Or he should be able to at least point me in the right direction I suppose.

SPC (Join to see) - yes. That is either at the Battalion S1 or because you are in IET it might be at a consolidated military personnel office (MILPO). Go to the HRC link and see for yourself. A 4187 is not anything exotic. Your marriage license is probably harder to come up with than anything.

Aren't you National Guard? You're his dependent, you follow him. Only soldiers on active duty get orders stationing them somewhere. Which is why MACP is only a program for Soldiers on active status.

SPC (Join to see) you both have to enroll through your S1. You should follow up with a call to both of your branch managers. Because of the added Complications that come with overseas assignments, DEROS, tour lengths, FSTE & curtailment, your situation might not be as easy as you going to Germany. Depending on how far into his tour he is when you graduate, and all the other factors I named, the best choice might be for him to follow you to your next assignment.

Have you talked to HR to see what would be needed signed or paperwork needed for this situation.
