Is there anyway to get the billet number to make it easier to Branch so I can get my desire assignment? I know Branch is always busy taking care about a thousand Soldiers calls/emails everyday. Please advice because I've been 10 yrs in without no luck to get an assignment I want. I want to do this in my own without involving my COC nor the retention NCO. Any suggestion?

SFC Retention Operations Nco
The requisition number is irrelevant. Your branch manager can see all the requisitions and can read the codes that tell them whether the assignment is available for you to take.
As an E5 your first step is to update your ASK, if they can give you one of your preference they will. After that, call and ask for a few places and follow it with an email.
Again, the requisition number is completely irrelevant to your branch manager, they are already working in EDAS, looking at the reqs and are more familiar with their assignment priorities than you are. You only need to ask for a location.
