How will getting recycled in AIT affect my assignment orders?

Other than the time you'll be going to your duty station it shouldn't affect much. I guess there's always the chance that you'll lose your first choice of station.

Hard to tell. Was a particularly duty assignment in a contract? Even so, if the slot that was put aside for you is filled you will go back into the pool and most likely be assigned based on the needs of the Army.
