How would basic and AIT work for 37f if I'm going through the National Guard split training option?

I am currently a junior in high school considering the split training option, where I do basic over the summer. Would that be possible as a 37f, even though it has OSUT? Or would I have to choose a different mos?

The responses are good. Remember AD 37F is not an IET initial entry training MOS. You have to apply, get selected and complete all required gates and training requirements to be fully MOS qualified.

Only certain MOS's are available for split option, you have to talk to a recruiter about it

I went thru the 37F pipeline back in SEP 2020, PsyOps units are only AD and AR so you wouldn’t have the opportunity to do so if you are going NG. Talk to a recruiter and ask about the possibilities of going 37F active duty if that is a job you’re interested in.
