HRC says I'm a civilian reports it to TSP?

HRC reported to TSP that I am off Federal Service. TSP sends me a letter on what I can do with my TSP as a civilian. I call and explain I am on Active Duty. TSP said the day of separation is the date that HRC told them was the day I left Active Duty and am no longer in the military. Being prior service my pay rate is at 22 years. Is this causing problems? If HRC says I am not in the military what does that mean for my upcoming deployment?
