That's the COA of choice Major. Some things are just sacred, for lack of better word. I like the idea 1SG Chavaree posted below of having them on the Morning and Evening Colors Detail for a good while also. If there's a cemetery nearby ensure they place flags on Veteran's graves and anything else to make them reflect and correct. Too many flag draped coffins to let it just pass.

I had same suggestion .Although in my sitrep I'd tell to stand fast on the side and after we both go have a counseling session with their duty NCO, myself,1st Sg and Cmdr... (I'm AF so it may be handled slightly different).

SSG Carlos Madden - yes, it is punishable, but I've always found that my senior NCOs had ways of handling these type of infractions way more efficiently than I could do by Art. 15 or by special court-martial.
