Ensure you have 36-months remaining on your contract prior to leaving your current duty station.

Don't quit you will be fine. Make sure your push-ups are good they count them like Ranger school. Green platoon is like basic training all over again just a little but better. Remember NIGHT STALKERS DON'T QUIT!!

1SG (Join to see) - I would expect nothing less from a "Nightstalker". It's definitely hard to see it from the inside. I've been in it, I've seen it from both sides. There is no difference between regular and special aside from special getting more money. Most of that extra money is wasted on silly stuff that doesn't add to combat effectiveness.

Sir CW4 (Join to see) I have also been on both sides. I have spent 10 years of service in non Special Operations Units. So I have spent way more time out of Special Operations than I have spent in Special Operations. I once again disagree that the only difference is extra money. In my opinion It's intellectually dishonest for you to compare your experience in a particular Special Operations unit and use that experience to talk down on Special Operations as a whole.
