I am a Disabled vet living overseas, How is it in this day and age the Fmp still mails out paper checks?

Fmp payments. How is it in this day and age the Fmp still sends out paper checks? 7 mo this after my amputation I have bill collectors calling and threatening to repossess my wheel chair
and leg. One of my doctors dropped me , they got paid but it takes 8 weeks for the Fmp check to clear. How is it that it takes 7 months to pay bills. The fmp has ruined my credit, left me hiding and afraid to answer the door in fear that it’s someone coming to get one of the two things I depend on everyday. When you call and try to talk to anyone at the fmp in Colorado, ( means I have to stay up till 1am my time) all’s you gets is sorry that’s the way it works. Well I’m here to tell you it does t work. How can this be fixed?

Update, I got a check in the mail. Yippee oh wait it’s over the international deposit limit so no one will deposit it over here. When I called into the fmp they told me well just open a checking account in the USA. Kinda hard to do from AUSTRALIA. ONCE AGAIN I GOT WELL THATS NOT OUR PROBLEM. So glad I served my country wish they would remember their end of the deal.
