I am currently a Security trainer at a medium sized casino on a Indian reservation I live on. I am completely satisfied about where I am at. I just wonder if I am will be underemployed once I receive my degree. I will have advancement opportunities here, but will be at a crossroads in a year or so.

It's imperative that you look at what your company can offer you first. Are they paying you or reimbursing you to achieve your degree? If so, you may want to see what you can do for them to help them move forward. If not, you should look at other opportunities that you can utilize your Military skills to enhance your career path. Best of Luck!! HOOAH

Polish your resume, apply for positions of greater responsibility within the company and apply to other companies. You may be surprised by the offers you get from both.
