I am at my new duty station, and I need the movers to get my stuff from a storage unit and another city (10+ drive away). Can I leave?

I mean would my post allow me to drive and meet them and get my hhg picked up?

It's up to your chain of command.
If they say 'no', it is still your responsibility to have someone there with the movers so you can properly verify everything is packaged up and accounted for. Then, when you get your stuff, make sure they do not just drop it off. Go through every item and verify the contents. I had a PS4 that was stolen and the moving company didn't do anything about it because I signed for everything and let them leave(rookie move).
