Based on that email, don't send the money. I suspect there's not even a vehicle behind that ad, and you'll never see your money again.

James Adair - Well, there you go. You have your answer. If you really want to beat a dead horse, go to the address and ask whoever answers the door to inspect the vehicle before you buy it. If they either 1. don't allow it, or 2. don't know what you're talking about, then you definitely know this was a scam.

James Adair Do not send any money or buy the car. This is not real and sounds like a scam.

this what she said : I am sorry but I can't because right now I am in a military base and my incoming and outgoing calls are restricted. Hope that you understand. There is nothing to be worried about this deal. I never fooled someone in any way. I won't risk my career, my freedom and my future for anything in the world! You can count on that! Please tell me do you want to buy the car this way? Yes or no? If yes please tell me when do you want to start the transaction? If no..then thank you for your time. Just let me know.

James Adair - I would not do this transaction. I do not believe that her incoming and outgoing calls are restricted. It does not pass the smell test.

James Adair - That's got scam written all over it. It's almost as bad as the Nigerian prince scams. It's totally a scam. THat's how they're all worded more or less with that crappy broken English.

How are they asking for payment? Because just the basic info you provided sounds like a scam.

SFC Kelly Fuerhoff - this was the email she sent me: Hello,

My name is Alice, and I'm emailing you about 2005 Toyota Tacoma TRD with an gasoline engine, automatic transmission and only 127,161 k miles. Never had or need any paint/body work done, garaged keep always, without any mechanical problems, tires and wheels are in great shape as well, electric is working perfectly. The engine 4.0L V6, runs very good and the automatic transmission shifts perfectly. Has a clean and clear US title in my name and there are no liens or loans on it. This car was used by my husband who died 4 month ago. The price was reduced at $1500 because I'm in a hurry to find a buyer. I need to sell the car before the 15 of the next month, when I will be leaving on military duty with my medical team out of the country for a year and do not want to store it. Hate to sell it but its not worth keeping insurance and paying storage fees for a year.
