I am currently a 68w looking to go for my paramedic. What is the process and what advice do you have?

Not sure what your career goals or service time are like but I would highly recommend the Special Operations Combat Medic course (as a ssg you would have to go to SFC selection to get there as they only let SGT and below go "unassigned" if being an 18D isn't for you the other easy way is being a flight medic. The Army is transitioning all flight medics to be paramedics, and you can also get the flight paramedic cert (harder than just nremt-p) you'll likely have to re up for that option
