I am currently an E-4 92L (Petroleum Laboratory Specialist). I want to work towards becoming a helicopter pilot. What steps should i take?

requires a warrant officer packet - which your retention NCO should have available - also a few medical examinations etc etc

it would also require a service remaining clause - that is - if your ets date is before the service remaining requirement for the school and reclass - you would need to extend.

I would say 1 check the prerequisites on the website. 2 let your chain of command know. 3 sift test. 4 flight physical. Then the letters of recommendation. You may want to consider doing soldier of the month boards as an E4. I say this because it will put you on some of the people you will being asking for an lor froms radar in a good way.

The big thing to check on as well is your color vision. Was an issue for many when I was in.
