I am due to PCS in the next couple of months and have not been assigned a sponsor. What would be my next step so I can get some help?

I have already contacted the brigade CSM and he directed me to the S1 NCOIC who then deployed and has not responded to me. I then called the S1 again and they said all medics go to the BSB so I called them and thier S1 said since im not on thier gains roster, no one knows where im going and couldnt provide me any more information . what should I do at this point as I placed a 4187 to report early due to some other information that was provided to me by the S1 in regard to a possible deployment rotation

Why do you need a sponsor to PCS? Don't your orders tell you where to go and when to be there by and you simply check in with the Duty Officer when you arrive, they point you in the right direction etc?

A Sponsor shows you around post and lets your Spouse know about Programs and Recreation options as well as FRG introductions. Its a way to start off on a good foot in your new Duty Station. And to shield the Chain Of Command of backlash from the Soldier saying They didn't know about that.
