I am in the Army National Guard currently. I have approximately 4.5 years left on my contract. Can I do Air Force ROTC?

My University offers army rotc, and I know that when you contract with ROTC they override your current enlisted contract. I’d rather be an Air Force officer. If I were to do Air Force rotc could the same thing happen?

Apr 29, 2015· Therefore he has been exploring several other options. His goal is to commission with the AF as a pilot but also is really needing financial assistance for college. He has been speaking with different recruiters and is now thinking of signing with Air National Guard and also doing AFROTC (non-scholarship) in college.
