I know the Post 9/11 and Montgomery GI Bills are available I'm just not positive on how they work. Also would appreciate advice on which online college to attend if possible. THX

I am looking to go to Liberty University next for my masters. They offer their masters degree at the same rate for an under grad. So army TA will pay for the classes. They are the only school that I know that does that. You can also look at the benefits that you state has. You should look at your states NG education office. I was able to find a link to your state benefits also. It seems that your state is like mine. We federal TA and State TA. In this case you may want to look at a school in your state.

Well the only college in AK is UAF or UAA so my choice is limited in that regard. Thanks for the links/info I'll look into it!

If looking at cheaper school use your tuition assistance. If it is like the Reserves it is up to $250 per credit hour for up to $4,500 a year. I used this for my Master's and it paid for half of it. I am using my Post 9-11 for my Phd. Others use it to pass to their kids or spouse.

Depends....as a 2LT in the Reserves as a straight up reservist I had to have a certain amount of time left on my obligation. I am not sure what it was, but hey I owed 8 years based on signing up! When I went AGR they supposedly added two years of active duty required time to my obligation. I really have no idea what they did because I split halfway and moving from a 8 year reserves obligation then going active with the AGR program I have no idea how many years I owed/owe, but hey at 20 I am sure they will let me know I am good.

You might want to talk to your education office for your area or state. And tell them what colleges you are looking at. I know mine was not in the goarmyedu website so they reimbursed me after I completed each class and proved to them that I paid this much for this many credits and received this grade signed off by my college.

Good luck. Moving and doing school isn't fun. I've been there a few times for different degrees and it never gets any better.
