I am looking to commission into AMEDD (71E) Reserve component. I am in So Cal. Does the Army have enough units in CA for medical officers?

Use http://www.usarec.army.mil to find the location of an AMEDD recruiters in your area. They should be able to guide you in the right direction.

With how big CA is, I have no doubt that you should be able to find a unit. May not be exactly where you WANT to go but, if you're open-minded, you shouldn't have a lot of trouble.
