There are many variables, starting with how long they will have left on their tour, how far into the prep cycle the rear D trainers are, and whether or not they require your grade and skill set. Thank you for your service.

Rear D unless you are on a by name deployment roster prior to arrival

I am in the same boat. I believe it depends on the amount of time left in the rotation and if they are short handed.

I think that will all depend on your unit. I had to stayed behind when my unit left one time because they didn’t need the whole company for the deployment. I have had some Soldiers come after we left. So, I would ask my Sponsor if I were your to get a solid answer if you were going to go with them or not.

Many thing could happen. You could be pushed forward and meet your unit shortly after I processing with your unit at garrison or just stay back on rear-d.

Same thing happened to me back in 09 when I went to Germany. Luckily a moron popped hot on a UA and I jumped on it in his place and went with my new Commander. More than likely if they are already gone when you get there, you will be rear D...But as stated below, that is an answer you seek from your chain of command. Talk to your sponsor and have them run it up.

There is no hard and fast answer to this question. We took fills up to 180 days into the rotation (OIF 05-07 surge). Other units stopped at 60-90 days. Depends on your unit, mission requirements, combat losses and a host of other considerations.

Chances are you will not go forward, but ultimately it will be up to your unit.

Depends if the unit need you, but I'm sure if you want to go you will be able to go.
