I am prior service Navy entering the AF. Is an NJP from 3 years ago disqualifying for entry into the PRP program?

1. Have you spoken with a recruiter yet?
2. NJP should not necessarily impact your certification. All certifications, within the bounds of DoD and USAF requirements, are at the Commander's discretion. I know Airmen who have received NJP while on PRP duties yet were never de-certified.
3. The following is from DoD Manual 5210.42 dated 13 Jan 2015:
a. Qualifying Criteria. Due to the special trust placed in them, personnel assigned to PRP duties must:
(1) Be dependable, mentally alert, and technically proficient commensurate with their respective duty requirements.
(2) Be flexible in adjusting to changes in the working environment, including ability to work in adverse or emergency situations.
(3) Have good social adjustment, emotional stability, personal integrity, sound judgment, and allegiance to the United States.
(4) Have a positive attitude toward nuclear weapons duty.

Thank you very. Also is that true that i would be initially cleared within a day to set me up for the August class? The reason I ask is I was told that by my recruiter because from my understanding that is what HQ said. Also I have a secret clearance already.

I was under the impression that NJD punishment at the Company level stayed there when you left.

SSgt Ryan Jones - I don't know. I've been out over 30 years and that's the way it was in the Army then
