I am promotable, came off of maternity leave and my PT is about to expire. What AR would back me up in creating an APFT extension memo?

You don't need an extension. According to AR 600-8-19:
Section IV
Promotion Points
3–16. Military training (combat experience, weapons qualification, and Army Physical Fitness Test)
"(c) Soldiers with a temporary physical profile resulting from combat-related operations, pregnancy, or when enrolled into the Army Pregnancy Postpartum Physical Training Program whom are prohibited from taking one or more events of the record APFT will use their current (last) record APFT score provided it is not more than 2 years old at the time of the promotion point computation"
You are still on PPPT program for another three months. You can't take the APFT unless you get cleared by medical before that. Your last APFT is only a year old so you're good.

SSG Joseph G. - It covers PPPT in the reg. So it has nothing to do with what it's equivalent to. She's still on the Army Pregnancy Postpartum Physical Training Program for another three months. So she falls under paragraph c and as long as her last APFT wasn't more than two years ago she's fine. It's a year old so she's fine for the next three months. After that 180 days post partum is up, she has to take an APFT and make height/weight.

When did I say I was offended? I just made a comment - but I have never heard that giving birth is "equivalent" to a combat related injury. I simply pointed out that PPPT is covered in the regulation. So there is no comparison necessary. She is good because she's still on the PPPT program. I don't see what more needed to be said.

That's what she asked. She thinks that her APFT is only good for a year. It's not as long as she's on PPPT. She's not about to lose her promotable status because in 3 months she can take an APFT. She has to take an APFT.
She said she just got off maternity leave. That's 12 weeks now. So that means she's halfway through her postpartum.
She won't need an extension memo for anything. If she makes points in the next three months, she will get promoted. If she doesn't, then she will have a new APFT anyway once she takes that one.

I am on PPPT until first week of June. My 1SG wants to send me to the board in April, my PT card also expires in April. Does this mean I can't go to the board? What can I do to not lose the Promotable status assuming I'd get it? Thank you for ypur guidance!
