88N30 duties are basic movement control overview, and supervisory checks and rechecks on systems put into by both the regulations, and command expectations of their vision on how movements are supposed to come to fruition. In all reality you as a senior member of the movements team must not loose sight of the eminent danger of multiple moving parts happenin around your units transportation needs. Supervision of soldiers, and constant communication between the command and soldiers on the line is paramount. Safety first, and precise execution of tasks moving, lifting, loading, securing, and quality control afterwards is your job as a 30 level movements NCO supervisor. Ya gotta love your job in mobility, or you will lose your way. Be fervent, and pay attention at school. Remember practice and quality in execution. Nothing happens until something moves! Transportation Corps!

Welcome to the Transportation Corps! I have been an 88N for about 9 1/2 years. It is a fantastic MOS! I love it because it is a very broad career field. I have been with an MCT doing convoy ops, worked division level doing container management, MCB writing FRAGOs, Port Management Team doing sea ops, and the Joint Transportation Office doing Air Ops. You gain so much experience in so many different areas. It's one of those MOS' that really does translate well into the civilian work force. I currently work for one of the largest trucking companies in the US as a Logistics Analyst. Amazing job, best pay of my life, and great benefits!

Like I said, I have a little over 9 1/2 years experience as an 88N so if you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to let me know! Best of luck to you!

I reclassify from 92Y to 88N and it is one of the best choices I made. The job is very rewarding and I love what I do. But it all depends on where you are stationed at as well, some units work more than others. You can be in a Movement Control Team and sometimes not have a mission but then you can go and work air, vessel, Sfc and work a lot. I've worked at a MCT and currently doing air for Special OPS, there is a drastic difference. Promotions are not bad neither. If you have any other questions you can contact me.

I am reclassing to 88N as a SSG. Can anyone give me any insight on duties as well as their likes and dislikes with the MOS.

I was searching online for the answer to this question and I found the answer here. Thank you for sharing the answer. I wanted to write an essay but didn't know how to do so when my friend suggested me to visit https://do-my-assignment.com/dissertation-writing-service-australia/ saying they would help me with my writing work. I would like to ask if anyone has used their services before who could suggest me should I go for them or not.

I'm also in the process of reclassing to 88N as a SSG. I'm coming from active duty as a Scout to the Reserve as an 88N. Everyone that I have spoken with so far has nothing but good things to say about the MOS. Have you been to school or anything yet?

You want to make sure you get ICODES to do Load Plans for Aircraft, HAZMAT course. But there are so many duties that if you go to multiple assignments you probably won't do the same job twice.

Start with ATP 4-16 and STP 55-88N14. Those will give you a general idea of what you might do, but I have not been in a unit where the mission matches doctrine exactly. For career progression check out DA PAM 600-25. In order to progress I would suggest Airlift Load Planners Course, HAZMAT Certifier Course, JOPES Support Personnel Course, and JOPES Action Officer Course. They also translate directly to top level GS positions.
