I am supposed to start my terminal leave on the 7th of July, but I failed my last PT test. What discharge will I get, and can I still leave?

This is my second one... first PT test I've taken in over a year due to injury. So they are putting in chapter paper work. I am just worried Because I've saved up 79 days of leave, and never been in trouble in the army. I just want to be able to give my kids and wife a good life outside of the army, and not get screwed with negative discharge and my leave denied..

It won't be a dishonorable discharge at all it would either be honorable or other than honorable which can be switched to honorable after a period of time and you should still be able to take your leave that you have saved up. Start looking into go back to school with the post 9/11gi bill. You will get all your glasses paid for and a book stipen plus bah for an e5 of where ever you are at

So what is it? Are you being Chaptered or are you ETSing? Can't be both.
