I am trying to figure out who all the past CSMs were for my BN (1-325 AIR). Does anyone know where to best look to find this information?

CSM (Join to see), Congratulations on your posting as the Battalion CSM.
I am surprised that the Battalion no longer has the list of past CSMs. I would check with Brigade for the list, if they still maintain one. Last I knew in 1996, Brigade maintained a list of the CSMs for all of the Battalions in the Regiment - Brigade, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Battalions. There was also a Regimental history that was written and published back in 1995, that may have a listing. I do not remember if that is correct, but I can check later, I have a copy at home.
Another resource that you may want to check would be the records of the 82nd Airborne Division Association, especially since the Battalion CSM is supposed to be the Battalion's Chapter Chairman.
If you need further assistance where I can help, please reach out.

CSM (Join to see), it seems that I have misplaced my copy of the Regimental history. However, you should be able to find a copy at the Division Museum. The book is - "Let's Go!: The History of the 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment, 1917-1995" By CPT Ronald Andrew Bassford. There is an earlier book with the same basic title that was published in 1955, CPT Bassford wrote this using material from the Division Museum and also from Brigade records.
I will continue to try and locate another source of information for you.

CSM (Join to see) - Has any of this information helped? Have you been successful in locating a list?

Most of the BNs have an archive of the previous commanders and CSMs. If that didn't happen, Fort Bragg's museum has a historian that can help point you in the right direction. You can ask for his contact info in the gift shop.

That is a great idea, but in this case it would be the 82nd Airborne Division Museum.

CSM Sean Horval ,
I don't know if I can help, but how far back are you wanting to research?
Another place to look for this info might be the down at the NCOA if it is still there. There was at one time (1996-2000) a list of all CSMs from all units in Div. I discovered these lists as a Bn Schools NCO for our Bn in 1997.
I will contact a long time Red Falcon, MSG Robert (Crusty) Brown, as he journal everything. If anyone one would have this info you want, he would. IIRC MSG was going to write a history of the 1-325 AIR as he lived it.
I will post my finding here or on the RP Red Falcon page.

CSMs Marrero, and Serrano. were my CSM During my time in the 1-325 1996-2000.
I forgot about Serrano - when he retired, he became the division safety officer while we were in Afghanistan in 2002 or 2005, I don't remember which.
