I applied for my post 9/11 with the VA and they declined saying I’m still on active duty and am on a 4 year obligation. How do I fix this?

If you haven't tried your branch manager yet sir, you can try reaching a service project officer at HRC [login to see] ).
Otherwise, I can message you the POC for Mrs. White. She is the separations analyst for officers, last name A-E, located at Knox.
Been dealing with some service component issues myself.

Yes please. In their letter to me they said I’m on a 4 year active duty scholarship. That is false. I was on a 2 year guard/reserve scholarship and I have served my obligation. I want to use my 9/11 for ADOS years for active duty support.

There's has been a slew of mix-ups and confusions all over the place with HRC, seemingly within the past 6 months. I've seen it reach into S1 shops. Everyone is blaming IPSSA, but I also suspect there is a bit of burnout Army wide. Just my two-cents.

I am in the Reserves and owe no obligation because I had only a 2 year scholarship.
They disregarded what I sent over.

Send the VA your DD214 from when you left AD, John, and let VA know you are now a reservist with your orders.

Hi Rana. I did and they literally told me they decided not to include it or my ROTC Contract and to file for an appeal.
