I arrived at Ft Carson and found out my unit just deployed. I haven't inprocessed yet. Will I get stuck on rear D?

That depends on several factors, mostly whether you are needed or not. You will most assuredly be certified in the chance that you are needed later, if not now.

That’s really a command decision. Some Soldiers get late deployed, and others are left on Rear D. That decision rests on a bunch of different factors that are levels above anything you can affect.

Probably, but at the end of the day I believe it falls on the CC to decide where the Soldiers in his unit go.

Knowing how Ft. Carson works, one of two things will happen. 1. Be on Rear-D and support the unit that way. 2. Deploy down range to catch up with the unit (most likely COA). If the unit is deployed, and they have new Soldier coming in, it usually happens, that once the Soldier is settled (Housing/Dependents/etc) and SRP is up to date, they will put you on the next thing burning up the runway to deploy.
