I'd like to see the gamers of RP come together, should they choose to.

The way this works in my mind is a soldier posts the name of a game they'd like to connect with people and play, along with their Username/GamerTag/whatever. Perhaps even a description of the game to get people to join you.
One of my favorite things to do when off duty was connect with the SMs in theater and show the South Koreans and Japanese how to play CoD and Halo.

I've not tried beyond Earth. Civ V multiplayer is fun because humans are more fun to play against than computers. But you can't use mods, and maps allow only about half the players that they would on single player. Huge is capped at 12, where in single player it goes up to 22.

WO1 (Join to see) Well, that doesn't sound too bad. I'll have to load it up and see if you and I can get a game going soon. Let me ask you this: Have you tried Galactic Civilizations 2?

WO1 (Join to see) It's like macro-Civ. You should give the Wikipedia page a look for an in-depth overview. I would say it's a fantastic turn based civilization-management game. the AI is FANTASTIC and DEVIOUS, even compared to Civ5, though your interaction with them is a bit limited (think civ 2-3 level, or Alpha centauri). You manage research building and ship production planet by planet. manage individul ships up to fleets of ships. The brilliance of your AI is actually limited by your CPU power. They're smart, and adapt to you. Ship customization and research priorities are a must at the moderate difficulty levels.
Anyway, customize-able ships (i mean really customize-able: look (not just colors), wespons, defenses, modules, engines); immersive tech trees and events. This is not Sins of a Solar Empire (which catches too much flak, IMO). You just got to give it a shot. I don't recall if a free trial exists. It's hard to explain this way. It has most of the things I love about Civ, a few things I love that Civ doesn't have, and is always worth a try. It was ahead of its time, and still plays VERY well for its age (2007).
It's a bit overwhelming to just dive into, but if you're a Civ fan, you'll do it anyway, and frantically search through the manual with a confused grin wondering why controlling 4 planets so quickly lost so easily.
I can't recommend it enough. I'm actually mad that no one ever brought it up to me before, kind of like I am with Nexus: The Jupiter Incident (which is an entirely different game).
A sequel comes out soon, I think. I'm definitely buying.

Gaming is really all i do. I'm on Xbox One mostly, playing GTA V, Destiny, Minecraft, Halo: Master Chief Collection, MKX, Assassins Creed Unity, Borderlands 2 and Presequel, Dying Light, Neverwinter, and i'll be getting Halo 5 and Black Ops 3 when they come out. Gamertag is Shadeaux Dragon. Always looking for new people, i'm almost always on with my wife and brother.

Big halo fan, here. I think you should try World Of Tanks. It's free on xbox, and I bet you'd get a kick out of the blen of realism, strategy, and arcade nature of it, given your games lists.
