1SG James L Vetter I agree that autonomous cars will save millions and cause significant change, but I don't see if happening as fast as this article predicts.
We will have active, driver based systems for many years. The automation of driving sets up an industry battle that is coming between Google, Uber, Lyft vs. All Big Auto companies and the networks we use to control them AT&T, Verizon, etc.
GM, Toyota, Ford, Kia will not just allow automation to someone else's standard. It will be a slugfest to see who gets to establish the standards. The lobbying alone will take 30 years.

Moreover but NASCAR and almost all short tracks will be violently opposed and here is why the trust of the government is so slow and actually despised.
