Open your OMPF. Anything that's listed with the suffix of -R will be viewed by the board. So if you have a failed 1059 it will say AER-R, R is for Referred. If your article 15 isn't in your OMPF then the board won't see it

Did the Command that gave the Article 15 file it in the Restricted or Performance part of your OMPF? If you haven't had a prior Article 15 and it is in the Restricted File, the Broad won't see it. If it's on the Performance side, the Board, Commanders, Career Counselors, etc can all see it. If you have had a prior Article 15 as an NCO, if will automatically go into your Performance File.

It’s filed in both, the restricted and performance side. That was my only article 15 as an NCO.

SSG (Join to see) - Do you have your copy of DA Form 2627? Line 4B should have the box checked either for the Performance or Restricted OMPF. If it marked Restricted, I would sit down with the S-1 shop and see what you need to do get it off the Performance side. If it's marked Performance, yes, everyone can see it.

CPT Lawrence Cable so the box next to restricted was the only one checked on the DA 2627. Thank you sir, I will go see if it can be taken off.

If I remember from my company clerk days, Article 15 paper work stays in your field 201 file until you PCS to another unit. At that point it is removed.
