I had a motorcycle accident years after leaving service. I see it listed as a "Gulf War Related Trauma" on a C&P exam. What does that mean?

SPC Jeff Hogan, M.S., M.P.S.: Your motorcycle accident had to do with the trauma that you incurred during the Gulf War.
Hope that this helps, Specialist Hogan, M.S.

so is that a good thing? is it somewhat service connected? I have a good amount of trauma from the accident; but, I never associated with being in the military. I read it the same way -- I'm just wondering how that connection is made.

SPC Jeff Hogan, M.S., M.P.S.: It depends on how you look at it. It is a good thing; in the sense that you may receive disability payment for the trauma. It is a bad thing that you incurred your trauma. I don't know, Specialist, if your trauma is service-connected or not. And, Specialist, I would be glad, if I were you, that the connection Was made. Hope that this helps you, Specialist Hogan, M.S. -Margaret

SPC Jeff Hogan, M.S., M.P.S. I do not see a connection. I would find out why it is listed this way.
