I have 15months left in my contract. I just received orders to Korea for a 12month restricted tour. Will I PCS back to the States to ETS?

SGT (Join to see) it is my understanding you'll have to extend 7 months to accept a PCS back to CONUS so you have a year on station. You could accept the 12 month unaccompanied tour, but you'd be there until you extend or hit your ETS and ETS from Korea. SFC (Join to see) or SFC (Join to see) is this correct?

Yes that's exactly right. The SM will need to have 12 months on their contract from the report date to go to Korea and an additional 7 to return and ETS from the US.

You can extend your tour f you’d like.
Another option is to sign a Declination statement which would negate your orders and suspend any favorable action for you and you still get to stay where you are and just ETS as normal. You won’t be promoted or go to any schools in the last 15months you have left. Just make sure you get an RE code of 1 in case you change your mind when you transition out or go to reserves or guard.

That would depend on their report date. As long as they can serve 12 months in Korea they are not eligible to decline the assignment. Declining an assignment doesn't prevent them from the Reserves.
