I have read Bill O'Reilly's Killing Patton, and want to read more about the General. No shortage of books on Amazon... any recommendations?

General Patton: A Soldier's Life by Stanley Hirshon is a good read. There a plenty of good solid books. Suggest you look at Maneuver Center of Excellence library which has some excellent notes on what to read. Good luck!

Patton: A Genius for War by D'este is the best one I've read on the general.

I am sure that Mr. O'Reilly's books are good, but I find some history books difficult to read. Why does Mr. O'Reilly use "Killing" in the title of his books? Perhaps, the content explains the title. "Killing" sounds very provocative.
