If these Soldiers are geografical bachelors (without their families) with the permission of the Commander and 1SG, they could stay in the barracks. This determine on a case by case basis.

The Army ended the geographical bachelor program last year I believe.

"However, the Army has now announced an end to the geographic bachelor program for stateside Army installations and Army installations in Alaska and Hawaii. Married Soldiers who are voluntarily separated from their families will no longer be authorized space in Army barracks.."
I would go talk to finance and make sure if this is accurate.

Army Announces End to Geographic Bachelors
The Army has now announced an end to the geographic bachelor program. Soldiers with dependents, drawing a housing allowance can no longer live in barracks.
